When a season is over, you close it to lock in its final standings.
The Rally Leagues screens are in French for now. Each button is quoted as it reads on screen, with its meaning in English.
- Open the season, then the « Fin de saison » (End of season) section.
- Read the « Ce que la clôture fera » (What closing will do) card: it lists the divisions that will close.
- If a blocker shows, fix it first from the season overview (close or abandon that division), then come back here.
- If a warning shows, check « Je comprends que ce qui reste à jouer sera marqué inachevé dans le classement final. » (what’s left to play is marked unfinished).
- Add a reason if you like, in « Motif (facultatif) » (Reason, optional).
- Click « Clore la saison » (Close the season).
The final standings are written and won’t move, even if a result is corrected later.
Reopen a season
Reopening is the only way to correct a closed season.
- In the « Rouvrir la saison » (Reopen the season) card, click « Se préparer à rouvrir » (Get ready to reopen).
- Write a reason in « Motif pour rouvrir » (Reason for reopening).
- Click « Rouvrir la saison ».
The previous standings stay visible: the next closing locks in new ones.
Then reprint any standings and schedules you handed out: they’re out of date.
Good to know
- A season that doesn’t finish can also be abandoned, with no final standings.
- An abandoned season can’t be reopened.
