Mexicano groups players of a similar level. After each round, tonight’s standings build the next games.
The Rally Leagues screens are in French for now. Each label is quoted as it reads on screen, with its meaning in English.
- In « Rondes » (Rounds), under « Mode de rotation » (Rotation mode), pick « Mexicano » in « Mode ».
- Pick the « Première ronde » (First round): « Par la cote » (By rating) or « Au hasard » (Random).
- Click « Changer le mode » (Change the mode). The mode applies to every session of the program, from the next round.
- Start rounds with « Ronde suivante » (Next round), then « Lancer la ronde » (Start the round).
How Rally builds the rounds
- First round by rating: players are ranked by their rating, or the starting rating of the program’s rating rules.
- Random first round: Rally builds it as in Popcorn.
- Then Rally takes players in groups of four from « Classement du soir » (Tonight’s standings). The 1st and 3rd play against the 2nd and 4th.
- The top group plays on the first court, the next one on the second, and so on.
Scores first
Rally needs the scores of the previous round. While some are missing, it names the courts to score.
Good to know
- Tonight’s standings add up everyone’s points, as in Americano.
- Rest stays fair, as in Popcorn.
- Mexicano is played in synchronized rounds only.
