Follow your program ratings

Rally keeps a rating for each open play player, from 1.0 to 10.0. Read it to set up divisions or welcome a newcomer.

The Rally Leagues screens are in French for now. Each label is quoted as it reads on screen, with its meaning in English.

  1. In « Jeu libre » (Open play), under « Programmes » (Programs), click « Cotes » (Ratings).
  2. Read each player’s rating, state and attendance.

What the table says

  • « Provisoire » (Provisional): the rating is still settling, under 10 rated games or after a long break.
  • « Établie » (Settled): the rating only moves a little, within the « Limite par séance » (Limit per session) of your rules.
  • « Partie du niveau déclaré » (Started from the declared level): the provisional rating starts from the level the player declared.
  • « Séances présentes » (Sessions attended): attendance, next to the rating. It never changes the rating.

Fixing a rating

A rating is never edited by hand. Fix the wrong score in « Rondes » (Rounds) instead: Rally recomputes every rating it touches, from that game to today.

Good to know

  • Each player only sees their own rating, unless you show ratings in « Règles de cote » (Rating rules).
  • A rating belongs to one sport and one discipline: doubles never change the singles rating.
  • Only finished open play games count.
