A player wants to sit out one round? They ask for a break. Rally never refuses it and counts it as a rest.
The Rally Leagues screens are in French for now. Each label is quoted as it reads on screen, with its meaning in English.
- On your phone, open your session page.
- In « Ta pause » (Your break), click « Prendre une pause » (Take a break).
- You rest in the next round, then you are back in play.
Changed your mind? Click « Annuler ma pause » (Cancel my break) before the round starts.
For the organizer
- In « Rondes » (Rounds), find the division’s list of players checked in.
- On the player’s row, click « Mettre en pause » (Give a break).
- Click « Ronde suivante » (Next round): the player rests, marked « En pause » (On a break).
To put them back in play, click « Retirer la pause » (Remove the break).
What Rally does with a break
- It adds to the rests the courts require: nobody else loses their turn.
- It counts as a rest for fair rest in the next rounds.
- It lasts one round only.
- A swap cannot put a player on a break back on a court. Remove the break first.
For a player who leaves the session, record it: read Check in players. To swap players, read Adjust a round.
